🧹 Crazy Cleanup — a Satisfying Sorting Game
Every level is a messy room. Dig out items buried under others, sort everything into the right buckets, and empty the board without jamming your tray: one of the most satisfying organizing games you can play in a browser.
Finish a room to unlock the next. Your progress is saved on this device.
How to Play
- Pick up what's free. Tap any item that is not covered. Buried items (overlapped by ≥15%) can't be picked until you clear what's on top of them.
- Sort into buckets. Two buckets are open at a time; each collects one category of items. Tap a matching item to send it home.
- Watch the tray. Uncollected items land in a 6-slot tray. It fills up fast: open new buckets and return tray items before it's full.
- Use the tools. 💡 Hint (×3) points at a collectible item; 🔧 Pliers (×3) force any buried item out. Neither refills.
- Empty every bucket to finish the room and unlock the next of the 20 levels, from a 26-item tutorial study to a 207-item gadget store.
Tips for Sorting Puzzle Games
- Clear the top first. The fastest way through any room is freeing what buries the most. The pile shrinks faster than your tray fills.
- Plan around the two open buckets. If both open categories are buried, that's the moment for pliers, not the moment to hoard tray slots.
- Hints answer, they don't spend blindly. If every candidate item is buried, the hint won't be used up. It tells you to dig instead.
- Tray full means restart. There's no revive: the 6/6 tray is the only way to lose, so treat every open slot as a resource.
- Like other tidy games and organization puzzles, the difficulty curve here is about visibility: later rooms hide more under more.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play Crazy Cleanup?
Tap items that are not buried under anything to send them to their matching bucket. Items buried at least 15% under other items cannot be picked until you clear what covers them. Open buckets one at a time — only two are open at once — and empty every bucket to finish the room. If your 6-slot tray fills up with unsettled items, the room is lost.
Is Crazy Cleanup a Goods Sort clone?
Crazy Cleanup is a free, fan-made game in the same genre as Goods Sort (an organizing and sorting puzzle by Wuhan Huiduo). It is an original build — not affiliated with or endorsed by the original developer — with its own levels, item art handling, and hint economy.
Is this sorting game free?
Yes. Crazy Cleanup is completely free to play in your browser on GridPaw — no download, no account, and no payment required.
Can I play Crazy Cleanup on mobile?
Yes — the room view, buckets, tray, and hint buttons all work with touch on any phone or tablet browser, and with a mouse on desktop.
Fan-made project. "Goods Sort" is a trademark of its respective owner; Crazy Cleanup is an original fan work in the same organizing-puzzle genre and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original developer.
