Quick answer

Level 9 introduces straight capped segments as fixed connection points. Six waves (two of them multi-loop bursts with “Great!” and “Excellent!”) take the score from 0 to 2,050 in about eighteen seconds.

Read the board · ≈3:12 ★ 2s ±2s New piece: straight segments with caps

Level 9's board mixes rotating arcs with straight pipe segments in blue, orange, green and purple: capped at one end, fixed as connection points. Routing now bends around straights as well as arcs.

Waves 1–3 · 3:16–3:24 ★ 2s ±2s Blue, green, purple, building to the combo

3:16 blue (200) → 3:18 green (500) → 3:24 purple (575). Small bursts, but each frees segments that feed the next wave.

Waves 4–6 · 3:26–3:30 ★ 2s ±2s Two multi-loop bursts close it

3:26 is a triple: red, orange and cyan loops burst together (575 → 1,250, “Great!”). After a single green (1,350), the finale at 3:30 is another triple: red, blue, purple (2,050, “Excellent!”). The “Well Done!” screen: 2,050, “Keep pushing, you're getting even better!”, “Only 3 levels left!”

What Level 9 asks of you.

The new idea here is the straight pipe: capped at one end, fixed as a connection point, in blue, orange, green and purple, sitting among the rotating arcs. Routes have to bend around a piece that will not spin. The ladder starts small (blue 200 at 3:16, green 500 at 3:18), then stalls for six seconds before purple nudges it to 575 at 3:24: the only slow patch in the level. Everything after that is combo work: a triple at 3:26 (red, orange and cyan burst together, 575 to 1,250, “Great!”), a single green to 1,350, then a second triple at 3:30 (red, blue, purple; 2,050, “Excellent!”) that closes the level.

Aim the arcs at the caps rather than trying to turn the straights. The capped end is the socket on this board, and whichever arc can reach it is the piece worth moving.

FAQ.

What are the straight pieces in Rotate Rings Level 9?

Straight pipe segments with a cap on one end — they debut here as fixed connection points that rotating arcs link through. Treat them like the fixed circles: routes bend around them.

How do multi-loop bursts work?

When one closure frees pieces for other colors, several loops can burst in the same moment — Level 9 ends with two triple-bursts (3:26 and 3:30). Big score jumps and Great!/Excellent! marks are the tell.

What score does Rotate Rings Level 9 give?

2,050 in our verified run.
