Watch the pistol leave the backpack and the cabinet swing on a left swipe, the two moves the cards describe worst.
Level 1 walkthrough: every move in order.
Drag the cowboy hat on the table to the protagonist; then Drag the glasses on the table to the protagonist; then Tap the backpack on the ground
Drag the pistol from the backpack to the protagonist; then Swipe left to open the cabinet
Drag the cowboy clothes from the cabinet to the protagonist; then Tap the stereo carried by the child
What makes Level 1 tricky.
Level 1 reads like a dress-up checklist until the third move, when the game stops accepting drags and asks for a tap. The cowboy hat and the glasses both lie on the table and travel straight to the protagonist, so the opening builds a rhythm: press, slide, release, twice. Then the backpack on the ground has to be tapped open, and only after that does the pistol inside it turn into something you can move. Players who keep hunting the table for the next item stall right there, because the pistol's source is a container, and nothing about a backpack looks interactive until it is. The hat and the glasses before it are both flat items lying on that table, which keeps the eye on the furniture a beat too long.
The cabinet repeats the trick with a different gesture. Its door answers a leftward swipe rather than a press, and the cowboy clothes stay out of reach until the door has actually travelled. That makes the level order-dependent in a way the screen never spells out: nothing in the cabinet can be dragged early, and nothing in the backpack can be dragged at all until the pack is open. Each finished move unlocks the next container, and the only record of which container comes next is the sequence printed on the cards above.
The scene explains the shape of the fix. This is a duel, and the goal text asks for a higher score than the rival rather than a hit, so the costume is the mechanic: hat, glasses, pistol and clothes, each dragged onto the man in turn. The last input refuses that logic. The stereo belongs to a child standing in the room rather than to the furniture, and it only reacts to a plain tap on the boy himself. Leave it and the level sits one move short, with nothing left on the table to try. The FAQ below reduces that to a single line about taps and drags.
Three inputs that stall a run.
When the level will not close, the missing gesture is almost always one of these:
- The backpack. Until it has been tapped, the pistol is not a draggable object, and no amount of dragging on the table changes that.
- The cabinet door. It wants a swipe to the left; the clothes behind it stay out of reach while it is shut.
- The stereo. The target is the child holding it, not the object and not the room around him.
All three sit between easy drags, which is how a run can feel finished while it is still missing a move.
FAQ.
What is the answer to Brain Puzzle 3 Level 1?
In order: 1) Drag the cowboy hat on the table to the protagonist; 2) Drag the glasses on the table to the protagonist; 3) Tap the backpack on the ground; 4) Drag the pistol from the backpack to the protagonist; 5) Swipe left to open the cabinet; 6) Drag the cowboy clothes from the cabinet to the protagonist; 7) Tap the stereo carried by the child
Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 1?
Only two of the seven moves are taps; the hat, glasses, pistol and clothes all come off a drag, and the cabinet needs a left swipe.
Is this Level 1 walkthrough up to date?
It follows the current build, and the build renumbers levels whenever new ones are slotted in, so older clips can sit a number off.
