The clip shows both clicks landing before anything appears under the finger: the mouse hole at step 4, then the Bible at step 7.
Level 27 walkthrough: every move in order.
Drag the steel wool on the bed to the bald prisoner; then Drag the soap on the sink to the bald prisoner; then Drag the toothbrush in front of the mirror to the bald prisoner
Click on the mouse hole; then Drag the butter held by the mouse to the bald prisoner; then Drag the mouse to the bald prisoner
Click on the Bible on the floor; then Drag the file from the Bible to the bald prisoner; then Drag the tongue of the prisoner on the bed to the bald prisoner
What makes Level 27 tricky.
Seven of the nine cards end on the bald prisoner, and the last of those seven does not start in the room. Step 9 drags the tongue of the prisoner on the bed onto the bald prisoner: a body part off a second man, not an object off a shelf. A run that has already handed him steel wool, soap, a toothbrush, butter, a mouse and a file will sweep the cell again for a seventh item and find nothing, because the missing piece has been lying on the bed the whole time.
Two cards are clicks on plain scenery: the mouse hole (4) and the Bible on the floor (7). Neither shows an object under the finger. The butter (5) and then the mouse itself (6) only exist after the hole has been clicked, and the file only leaves the Bible (8) once the Bible has been clicked (7). Both clicks sit between drags, and the game puts no glow on a hole in the skirting or on a book lying flat to say they are live. The mouse is also the only source used twice: once for what it holds, once for itself.
The goal describes three of the nine cards and none of the rest. It asks for the paint to come off the prisoner's back, and steps 1 to 3 supply steel wool from the bed, soap from the sink and the toothbrush in front of the mirror: three cleaning items, three pieces of furniture, one target. After that the level stops being about paint and becomes a matter of handing him anything odd, so the question shifts from what scrubs paint to what in this cell answers a touch. If the cell looks empty and the polaroid has not appeared, the tongue is what is left. The FAQ is the same nine cards with the commentary stripped out.
Two clicks and one body part.
The cards that break the pattern are the ones that finish the level:
- The mouse hole (4) is a click, and the butter (5) only appears after it.
- The Bible (7) is a click; the file (8) comes out of it.
- The mouse is a source at step 5 and an object of its own at step 6.
- Step 9 takes the tongue off the prisoner on the bed, not off the bald man.
- Steel wool (1), soap (2) and the toothbrush (3) each sit on a different surface.
Three cleaning items open it, two clicks sit in the middle, and a body part ends it.
FAQ.
What is the answer to Brain Puzzle 3 Level 27?
In order: 1) Drag the steel wool on the bed to the bald prisoner; 2) Drag the soap on the sink to the bald prisoner; 3) Drag the toothbrush in front of the mirror to the bald prisoner; 4) Click on the mouse hole; 5) Drag the butter held by the mouse to the bald prisoner; 6) Drag the mouse to the bald prisoner; 7) Click on the Bible on the floor; 8) Drag the file from the Bible to the bald prisoner; 9) Drag the tongue of the prisoner on the bed to the bald prisoner
Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 27?
Only two cards in the cell are clicks — the mouse hole at step 4 and the Bible at step 7 — and the other seven are drags onto the bald prisoner, so tapping him is not how this level moves.
Is this Level 27 walkthrough up to date?
Yes — nine moves on the current build, and the last one takes the tongue off the prisoner on the bed rather than off the man you have been scrubbing.
