Quick answer

Brain Puzzle 3 Level 48 is \"Chimney Cooling\": Don't let the girl be spotted by the pervert!. 16 moves in order, listed below and shown in the embedded walkthrough. Most moves are drags. If a tap does nothing, drag the object onto the person or prop it belongs to.

The clip follows the cards in order, and the input worth watching twice is step 8: the window takes a double-tap, which reads as a single press in any text guide.

What makes Level 48 tricky.

Two of the sixteen cards are not moves at all. "Don't drag the heartthrob poster to the girl" and "Don't drag the fan to the girl" are warnings, and the first usable input is the tap on the phone at step 3. They are formatted like the fourteen real moves around them, so a run that reads the list from the top spends its first minute dragging a poster the game is already refusing. The poster is not scrap either: at step 11 it gets painted, and at step 12 it goes to the girl. The fan never comes back.

Order matters more than aim. The phone is tapped (3) and then dragged (4): one object, two gestures in a row, and the drag does nothing until the tap has landed. The fridge opens on a right swipe (5) and then hands over two separate items, the ice cubes (6) and the lid of the foam box (7). The window answers a double-tap (8), which is a different input from the single presses elsewhere. The coat comes off with a swipe down (13), and only after that does the remote reach the air conditioner (14). Card 16 sends the curtain to the uncle rather than to the girl, the one drop late in the list that does not end on her.

Only one card touches the air conditioner (14) and only one touches the curtains (16), so both are single-use targets with one item apiece. Everything else that moves is a loose prop (a phone, ice cubes, a foam box lid, glue, a watermelon, a storybook), plus the framed poster, the one big object that travels. The girl sits on the chimney breast above a burning fire and the uncle stands at the open window, and the loose props on the sofa and floor are the only things there that answer a finger. If a sweep of the room turns up nothing, the phone is untapped.

Every one of those is a gesture mismatch rather than a missing object.

Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 48?

Only two presses land in Level 48 — the phone at step 3 and the double-tap on the window at step 8 — while the fridge takes a right swipe, the coat a downward swipe, and ten of the sixteen cards a plain drag.

Is this Level 48 walkthrough up to date?

Yes — the sixteen moves match the current build, and the embedded clip shows the close on 'Escaped disaster' at 1:35 and 'Completed' at 1:40.
