Brain Puzzle 3 Level 26 Answer: Help the girl extend the ladder to climb upstairs

Unofficial fan-made guide. Not affiliated with the developer of Brain Puzzle 3.
Steps cross-checked against an independent all-levels reference (current game version) and the embedded walkthrough video. Brain Puzzle 3 moves are drags as often as taps. If a tap does nothing, try dragging the object instead.
Quick answer

Watch step 7 and step 8 back to back: the axe goes onto the tree, and the wood that comes back to the ladder is the only card in the level that does not end there.

Drag the stick from the zombie's hand onto the ladder; then Drag the street light onto the ladder; then Swipe left to open the toilet door; then Drag the man in the toilet onto the ladder

Step 3 Steps 8–10: Drag the piece of wood onto the ladder

Step 4 Steps 11–13: Drag the water pipe upstairs over to the ladder

Drag the water pipe upstairs over to the ladder; then Drag the man playing dead on the ground to the ladder; then Take the nunchucks from the girl's hands to the ladder

What makes Level 26 tricky.

Ten of the thirteen cards end on the ladder. That gives the level a rhythm (grab, drag onto the ladder, repeat), and exactly one card breaks it: step 7 sends the axe onto the tree, and the axe never touches the ladder at all. A run that has settled into ladder-aiming by step 7 keeps dragging at the ladder while nothing happens, and the level reads as stuck on a card that has already worked five times. The tree is not a detour. It is where the piece of wood for step 8 comes from, so the axe has to land before the ladder gets any longer.

Two things in the street have to be opened before their contents count. The toilet door takes a swipe left (3), and the man behind it only becomes draggable once the door has swung (4). The bushes take a plain tap (9), and the broom that step 10 drags exists only after that tap. Both are scenery between drags, and neither shows a thing until touched. The water pipe at step 11 is the other odd source: the card says upstairs, so the drag starts above the ladder and finishes on it.

People are containers here. The belt comes off the man lying on the ground (5), the man playing dead is dragged to the ladder whole (12), and step 13 pulls the nunchucks out of the girl's hands: the only card where the source is the character the run has been trying to protect. Two of those three sit in the last four cards, which is why a run that has been hauling junk off the pavement slows down at the end. If the ladder still looks short after the broom, count what is left: the water pipe, the man on the ground, the nunchucks. Nothing else in the street is live. If a card still reads wrong, the FAQ repeats the order in one paragraph.

What the ladder still needs.

When the ladder has stopped growing, one of these is usually the reason:

After the broom, three cards are left: a pipe, a body and a pair of nunchucks.

FAQ.

What is the answer to Brain Puzzle 3 Level 26?

In order: 1) Drag the stick from the zombie's hand onto the ladder; 2) Drag the street light onto the ladder; 3) Swipe left to open the toilet door; 4) Drag the man in the toilet onto the ladder; 5) Drag the belt from the man on the ground onto the ladder; 6) Drag the toilet sign onto the ladder; 7) Drag the axe onto the tree; 8) Drag the piece of wood onto the ladder; 9) Tap on the bushes; 10) Drag the broom onto the ladder; 11) Drag the water pipe upstairs over to the ladder; 12) Drag the man playing dead on the ground to the ladder; 13) Take the nunchucks from the girl's hands to the ladder

Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 26?

Only two cards in Level 26 are not drags — the swipe left that opens the toilet door at step 3 and the tap on the bushes at step 9 — so pressing anything else in the street does nothing.

Is this Level 26 walkthrough up to date?

Yes — thirteen moves in the order the current build uses, from the zombie's stick to the girl's nunchucks; older uploads can sit a level or two off because inserted levels shift the numbering.
