The pump leaves the yard for the balloon on the branch, the branch turns into a shovel two cards later, and the level ends with a mushroom rather than an engine, so watch where each prop is aimed.

Level 51 walkthrough: every move in order.

Step 1 Steps 1–4: Drag the grandfather to the deflated tire

Drag the grandfather to the deflated tire; then Drag the pump to the balloon on the branch; then Drag the inflated balloon to the younger brother; then Drag the paint to the older sister

Step 2 Steps 5–8: Click the window of the wooden house

Click the window of the wooden house; then Drag the ninja outfit to the older brother; then Drag the branch to the shovel head on the ground; then Drag the shovel to the father

Step 3 Steps 9–11: Drag the mother to the wooden house

Drag the mother to the wooden house; then Click the garage of the wooden house; then Drag the gasoline to the motorcycle

Step 4 Steps 12–14: Drag the tire to the motorcycle

Drag the tire to the motorcycle; then Drag the grandfather onto the motorcycle; then Drag the mushroom to the grandmother

What makes Level 51 tricky.

Three of the fourteen moves start with a family member instead of a prop. Step 1 drags the grandfather onto the deflated tire, step 9 drags the mother into the wooden house, step 13 drags the grandfather onto the motorcycle, and the garage is opened one card after she goes in. The same man is handled like an object at both ends, parked on a tire first and loaded onto a bike last. A run that treats the family as scenery looks for a tool to drag onto the flat tire and finds nothing, because the pump in this yard is aimed at a balloon on a branch, not at the tire sitting next to it.

The two combine moves are both two-stage, and neither input is a finished tool. The balloon only becomes carryable once the pump has been dragged onto it, which is why step 3 hands over the inflated balloon rather than the balloon. The branch is scenery until step 7, when it is dragged onto the shovel head on the ground and turns into the shovel the father needs one card later. In both cases a new name appears in the next card, and that name is your next object. The window in step 5 and the garage in step 10 are the only clicks in fourteen moves; everything else is a drag.

The ending is a relay rather than a single gesture. Gasoline and the tire both go onto the motorcycle, at steps 11 and 12, the grandfather climbs on at 13, and the level still is not finished, because the grandmother is standing off to the side waiting for a mushroom at step 14. Thirteen moves build a getaway and the fourteenth is a snack. If the scene looks complete and the polaroid screen has not appeared, check what the grandmother is holding. The check line shows the same spread: garage at 1:05, mushroom at 1:10, completion banner at 1:20.

What stalls a Level 51 run.

Six things hold up a run here, and five of them look like scenery:

Once the branch has become a shovel there is nothing left to combine, only a motorcycle to load and one mushroom to hand over.

Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 51?

In Level 51 the taps that do nothing are the window and the garage, which are the only two clicks; every other card, including the ones that start on a family member, is a drag.

Is this Level 51 walkthrough up to date?

The card order here matches the current build of Brain Puzzle 3, and the check line timestamps are taken from the same run, so an older clip can sit a few levels off without the steps being wrong.
