Brain Puzzle 3 Level 8 Answer: Help him break free from the railing

Unofficial fan-made guide. Not affiliated with the developer of Brain Puzzle 3.
Steps cross-checked against an independent all-levels reference (current game version) and the embedded walkthrough video. Brain Puzzle 3 moves are drags as often as taps. If a tap does nothing, try dragging the object instead.
Quick answer

Level 8 “Elevator Arrest”: Help him break free from the railing. 16 moves in order, most of them drags. Follow the step cards below or copy the embedded video move-for-move.

Twelve of the sixteen moves land on the same railing, so watch the pile rather than the cursor: the clip shows which items are already on it before the next drag.

What makes Level 8 tricky.

Twelve of the sixteen moves end on the same iron railing, and that is the level's whole difficulty. The pile grows with a lamp, an extra-long phone, a baguette, a mouse, a camera, a billboard, an oil stain, a wig, a wrench, a girl, a worker and a ghost, and once a dozen objects are stacked there the railing stops telling you what has already landed. The moves that break the pattern are easy to lose inside that rhythm: the lollipop goes into the left air vent at step 4, and the crumbling ceiling takes a downward swipe at step 9.

Four of those deliveries start on a person rather than on the floor. The baguette is in the girl's hands, the oil stain is on the man's hair, and the hairspray wig and the wrench both belong to the worker; two of the people involved are themselves draggable, since the girl goes to the railing at step 12 and the worker at step 13. A run that only scans the ground finishes with the pile short and no idea which source it skipped.

The ending is the part people get wrong. Step 14 taps the elevator button, which reads like the goal, and step 15 taps the “?” button, and neither one ends the level. The last move is another drag onto the railing, and its target is the ghost, which appears in the list only after the ceiling has been swiped down. Those two buttons are the only taps in an otherwise all-drag level, so they arrive as a change of gear right when the run feels finished.

Thirteen drags, one swipe, two taps.

Count what is already on the railing before hunting for a new source:

Two taps, one swipe, thirteen drags. If the run will not close, the missing move is almost always the one that is not a drag.

Is this Level 8 walkthrough up to date?

It follows the current build, where the level is not over at the elevator button: a second tap and one more drag come after it.
