What makes Level 7 tricky.
Thirteen moves and eleven ghosts, which is the whole design: every ghost wants exactly one thing and no object suits two of them. The pairing that decides most runs is the fridge. Step five takes the hand warmer to the frozen-to-death ghost, who is sitting inside it, and step seven takes the ice cubes from that same fridge to the heatstroke ghost. Heat for the cold ghost, cold for the hot one, and the two are one careless drag away from being swapped.
The fridge gives up neither item until the left swipe at step three, so steps five and seven both hang on a move that produced nothing visible. The window runs the same trick. The double-click at step eight opens a view of the police station and the theater sign, and the next two moves reach through it for the badge and then the sign, so two of the eleven wishes are answered with something that was never inside the apartment. Both gates in this level are gestures, a swipe and a double-click, and neither one is attached to anything a ghost asked for.
The rest is a queue of small gifts. The laptop goes to the ghost still working, the photo on the wall to the one lying down, the coin off the floor to the poor ghost holding a bowl, the hamburger to the starving one by the window, the balloon to the fat ghost and the bone to the one missing a limb. The photo is the only piece of wall decor that turns into a delivery, and the coin is the only thing lifted off the floor, which is why both get skipped while the eye stays on the fridge.
Warm for the cold ghost, cold for the hot one.
The wishes are paired one to one, so the mistakes are swaps rather than misses:
- Step 2: the photo on the wall is a delivery, not decor.
- Step 3: swipe left on the fridge before steps 5 and 7 can do anything.
- Step 5: the hand warmer goes to the frozen-to-death ghost, who is inside that fridge.
- Step 6: the coin on the floor belongs to the poor ghost holding a bowl.
- Step 7: the ice cubes go to the heatstroke ghost, not to the frozen one.
- Step 8: double-click the window; steps 9 and 10 reach outside for the badge and the theater sign.
- Step 13: the bone goes last, to the ghost missing a limb.
Eleven drags, one swipe and one double-click, and the run breaks where two wishes point at the same appliance.
