What makes Level 37 tricky.
The level opens on one face and asks for two different gestures in a row. The boxing glove is dragged onto the man in white's face, and the very next move swipes left across the same patch of skin. Nothing about the second input looks new, because the target has not changed and the face is still the only thing the screen points at, so most runs repeat the drag and get nothing. The poster keeps doing it: the girl's dress strap wants an upward swipe, her belly wants a plain tap, the rightmost person's hand at the waist wants a swipe down. Four moves in a row, three kinds of gesture, none of them announced.
The middle of the level is a chain. The hair tie and the razor both start in the girl's hand and both finish on the man in brown, but only the razor turns his beard into an item: step 6 has to land before step 7 has anything to grab. The beard then travels to the man in white's head, so a prop that began on one face ends on another. Try it early and the cursor finds nothing.
The last two moves are about pockets rather than faces. The air cushion starts inside the brown-shirt guy's pocket, and the pen starts in the man in white's pocket. But the pen's destination is the bottom of the screen, empty space, not a character. After ten moves aimed at people, the hand is looking for a face to drop things on, and that is how a cover ends one prop short. Step 9 also takes either route, leftward on the woman or rightward on the leather jacket, so a run can differ from the list at step 9 and still be right.
Four gestures, two pockets.
Everything that stalls this cover is a gesture that looks like the one before it:
- The man in white's face takes the glove as a drag, then a left swipe on the very next move.
- The dress strap moves only on an upward swipe (step 3), and the girl's belly only on a tap (step 4).
- One hand holds two items: the hair tie first, then the razor, both delivered to the man in brown.
- The beard only becomes an item after the razor has been dragged onto it (step 6, then step 7).
- The rightmost person's hand at the waist needs a swipe down, not a drag.
- Either step 9 route completes the move: left on the woman, right on the leather jacket.
- The pen ends at the bottom of the screen, so stop hunting for somebody to hand it to.
