What makes Level 3 tricky.

Fourteen moves, the longest of this run, and the first two belong to doors. Step one is a click on the door, step two a left swipe on the bathroom door, and neither ends on the girl. What follows reads like the previous level's cleaning rather than a beauty routine: the shower head goes to her at step three, the mop stays on the bathroom floor at step four. The opening four spend two moves on doors and one on a mop, which is why the count feels longer than the work.

From step five the level settles into a transfer chain. High heels, then perfume, then the hat pulled off the poster outside the door, all ending on the same person. Step eight is the only move whose target is clothing rather than skin, and the skirt it paints does not have to come off first. Step ten is the only swipe aimed at the girl herself, an upward gesture with nothing in hand, sitting between two drags that both carry an object.

The first card hides a timing trap that the count does not show. The door is clicked before it is ready (the instruction says so outright), and a player who treats the door like the containers in other levels waits for a prompt that never comes, taps the closed door a few times, and moves on to the shower head with the first move unspent. Nothing rewards the early click except progress itself: the door simply opens, and the level never explains why acting early was correct there when every other gesture in the run waits for its object to appear. The bathroom door at step two behaves normally, which makes the inconsistency harder to spot. Two doors, two cards apart, one wants patience and the other wants the opposite.

The last stretch is where a run drops moves. The cosmetics at step nine, the comb at step eleven and the pronunciation book at step twelve are named on the cards with no ceremony, and the window at step thirteen is a double-click on scenery. Step fourteen puts the watering can into the flower basket and never touches the girl. It is the last move of the level, and the only thing it changes is the flower basket, so a run that stops after the book finishes a move short of a level it has already solved.

Where the fourteen moves slip.

Most of the fourteen moves end on the girl, so the misses cluster where the target changes:

Ten drags, two swipes, one click and one double-click, and the run ends early because the final move does not look like part of the goal.

FAQ.

What is the answer to Brain Puzzle 3 Level 3?

In order: 1) Click to open the door before it's ready; 2) Swipe left to open the bathroom door on the left; 3) Drag the shower head to the girl; 4) Drag the mop to the floor in the bathroom; 5) Drag the high heels to the girl; 6) Drag the perfume to the girl; 7) Drag the hat from the poster outside the door to the girl; 8) Drag the paint onto the skirt; 9) Drag the cosmetics; 10) Swipe up on the girl; 11) Drag the comb; 12) Drag the pronunciation book; 13) Double-click to open the window; 14) Drag the watering can to the flower basket

Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 3?

Ten of the fourteen moves are drags, the two doors need a click and a left swipe, the girl takes an upward swipe at step ten and the window a double-click at step thirteen.
