What makes Level 53 tricky.
Fourteen moves, ten drags, and every one of those drags ends on the same white-haired makeup artist. There is no branching and no second client. The level is not a delivery puzzle but a selection puzzle: the work is deciding which props in a pink vanity room count as makeup. The mascara off the shelf at step one is the only item that looks the part. A plunger at step four, a sparrow off the windowsill at step three and a rainbow at step fourteen all get used on the same face, and the frame offers no hint that any belongs in a kit.
The room gives four gestures that are not drags, and each changes the scene instead of the artist. The window needs a double-click at step two, and three later moves sit behind that glass: the sparrow at three, the cloud at twelve and the rainbow at fourteen. The swipe down at step five is the only move that acts on her without an object. The light switch at step eight puts the room in the dark, and the two moves that follow are fluorescent paint on the wall and a black marker off the floor. The swipe left on the cloud at twelve produces the rainbow. Ten drags, two swipes, one tap and one double-click make the fourteen.
The near-duplicate props do the rest. Step six sends the feather duster at the artist and step seven sends the dirty feather duster, two separate objects with almost the same name and recipient, so a run can drag the first one twice. The shelf is used twice, for the mascara at step one and the makeup bag at step thirteen. The rainbow is the sharpest trap: the cloud swipe at twelve creates it, but the card spends step thirteen on the makeup bag first and only collects the rainbow at step fourteen. A run that grabs the rainbow early works a move ahead of the list.
One face, four non-drags.
All ten drags land on the same artist, so the only decisions are which prop and which gesture:
- Step 1: the mascara comes off the shelf and is the first of ten deliveries to one face.
- Step 2: double-click the window. Steps 3, 12 and 14 all sit behind that glass.
- Steps 6-7: the feather duster and the dirty feather duster are two separate props.
- Step 8: the light switch goes off, and the fluorescent paint at step 9 follows it.
- Step 10: the black marker is lifted off the floor, not off the vanity.
- Step 12: swipe the cloud left to make the rainbow, but leave it until step 14.
- Step 13: the makeup bag comes off the same shelf the mascara came from.
Four gestures change the room, ten drags change one face, and the level ends on the artist it started with.

Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 53?
Ten of the fourteen moves are drags onto the same artist and the four that are not (window double-click at step 2, swipe down at step 5, light switch at step 8, cloud swipe at step 12) act on the room, so a plain tap on a prop does nothing.
Is this Level 53 walkthrough up to date?
Written against the current build, in which this vanity room sits at level 53; the numbering drifts when rooms are inserted earlier in the list, so an older clip may call the same scene something else.
