Three locks, one carpet and a watermelon that has to be cut before it can be carried, and the carpet swipe is the single move in the twelve that is not a drag.

Level 11 walkthrough: every move in order.

Step 1 Steps 1–3: Drag the key onto the key lock

Drag the key onto the key lock; then Drag the oil onto the gear lock; then Drag the knife to the watermelon

Step 2 Steps 4–6: Drag half the watermelon to the door

Drag half the watermelon to the door; then Drag the pin-up poster to the man; then Drag the shy man to the door

Step 3 Steps 7–9: Drag the paint bucket to the man in white

Drag the paint bucket to the man in white; then Drag the bees to the man; then Drag the notebook on the table to the password lock

Step 4 Steps 10–12: Drag the man outside to the door

Drag the man outside to the door; then Swipe up the carpet inside; then Drag the man under the carpet to the door

What makes Level 11 tricky.

The door carries three locks and each one takes a different supply: the key for the key lock, the oil for the gear lock, and the notebook on the table for the password lock. None of them sit together. The key and the oil are separate props, while the notebook is specified as sitting on a table, and the only hint that it belongs to the password lock is the ninth card naming that lock. A run can hold the right three props and still pair them wrong: oil on a key lock looks as reasonable as oil on a gear lock.

Between the locks the level switches target from hardware to people. Steps 5, 7 and 8 put a pin-up poster, a paint bucket and a swarm of bees onto men standing in the room, and step 6 drags a man to the door. The preposition is the difference: the poster and the paint are applied to a man, the notebook is carried to a lock. Read the level as everything goes to the door and you will try the poster on it, with five cards still to spend.

The watermelon is the cleanest example of the order dependency. The knife cuts it at step 3, and only after that does half the watermelon exist as something to carry to the door at step 4. One card apart, same shape as the locks, and it teaches the pattern the rest of the level runs on: an object becomes another object and the new name is what the next card wants. Then the ending hides a man under a carpet. Step 11 swipes that carpet up, the only non-drag among the twelve moves, and step 12 delivers the man who was underneath it. A run that has walked every man it can see to the door is still one swipe and one drag short, and the carpet lies on the floor exactly where a rug is supposed to lie.

Pairings that cost a run.

The three locks are the map, and the rest of the level is delivery:

Name the supply for each lock before you start dragging and the people moves become ordinary deliveries to one door.

FAQ.

What is the answer to Brain Puzzle 3 Level 11?

In order: 1) Drag the key onto the key lock; 2) Drag the oil onto the gear lock; 3) Drag the knife to the watermelon; 4) Drag half the watermelon to the door; 5) Drag the pin-up poster to the man; 6) Drag the shy man to the door; 7) Drag the paint bucket to the man in white; 8) Drag the bees to the man; 9) Drag the notebook on the table to the password lock; 10) Drag the man outside to the door; 11) Swipe up the carpet inside; 12) Drag the man under the carpet to the door

Why does nothing happen when I tap in Level 11?

Only one move is not a plain drag: step 11 swipes the carpet up, and the man underneath it only becomes a target after that swipe.

Is this Level 11 walkthrough up to date?

The steps follow the current build, and the twelve moves were checked against the embedded clip, so a guide that lists fewer locks or skips the carpet is working from an older version.
