What makes Level 47 tricky.
Eight of the twelve moves end on the same man. The doctor takes a green solution, a bottle, a fire extinguisher, hair, a bone, a garbage bag, an empty can and pepper spray, so the destination is never the problem. Finding the source is. Each item has to be found before it can be thrown, and one of them only becomes reachable after the bin has been clicked. The level is a search dressed as a fight.
Two bottles look like one. Step 1 drags the glass bottle of green solution; step 2 drags a glass bottle with no colour in its name. After the first bottle leaves, the scene looks one bottle emptier than it is, and that second bottle is the move most runs skip. At step 6 the gestures change kind: the surgical light above the head is slid downward rather than at the doctor, and the last move slides his pants the same way. Both slides act on scenery rather than on cargo, and both arrive right after a stretch of drags.
The bin is a three-part move disguised as one. Clicking the trash can opens it, the garbage bag inside is dragged to the doctor, and then the empty can itself follows him in step 9, and the container becomes the weapon once it has been emptied. The faucet is the same trick with no cargo: it is clicked, nothing is delivered, and the pepper spray in step 11 is the payoff. After that only the slide down his pants remains, a gesture with no object in hand, which is why the room can look finished while the girl is still strapped to the chair.
Eight deliveries, two slides, two clicks.
Twelve moves, and only eight of them are the same gesture:
- Eight drags all end on the doctor: green solution, bottle, extinguisher, hair, bone, garbage bag, empty can, pepper spray.
- Steps 1 and 2 are two separate bottles; the second has no colour in its name and is the one that gets skipped.
- The surgical light is slid downward, not dragged to the doctor (step 6).
- Click the trash can before the garbage bag will move, and the emptied can is a delivery of its own (step 9).
- The faucet is clicked with nothing to hand over: preparation, not a hit (step 10).
- The last move is a slide on the doctor's pants, with empty hands.
- Count the gestures if the room will not close: two clicks, two slides, eight drags.
Nothing moves the girl off that chair until the doctor's pants are down, so the twelfth move is the one that ends the level.
